Xbox and Antstream Arcade have joined forces to launch Retro Classics. This allows all Game Pass members to access over 50 collections of “Actionision titles.”Commando, Grand Prix, Kaboom! , Mecha Warrior 2: Battle of the 31st Centuryand Pitfalls! ” According to Xbox.
As this initiative is described as a “commitment to game storage and backward compatibility,” these titles can be used to play “on consoles, PCs, and supported devices with cloud gaming.” In other words, the Xbox console, the PC’s Xbox app, now supports LG and Samsung smart TVs, Amazon Fire TV devices, and Meta Quest headsets. To access Retro Classics, users must download via Game Pass membership.
Players can also compete with friends, rivals, or global communities through unique challenges. Additionally, Xbox boasts that it offers the ability to save and reload “the first of many classic titles.” Additional games will arrive from Activision and Blizzard. This expects over 100 titles will be added to the collection over time.
