Microsoft has confirmed Wave 1 in its Xbox Game Pass May 2025 lineup.
In a post on the Xbox Wire, Microsoft revealed that it had hit the subscription service and visited it until May 20th. The biggest hitter here is Doom: The Dark Ages, the world-famous first-person shooter series from ID Software. In other words, the release of a one-day game pass as a Microsoft-owned game. However, it is not the only Game Pass released on May 1, 2025.
Available today, May 6th, is DREDGE (Cloud, PC, Xbox Series X | S) that will hit Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard. Here’s the official Microsoft blurb.

May 7th is a big day for the Game Pass and there are many additions. Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 (Cloud, Console, and PC). Dungeons of Hinterberg (console) is now the standard game pass. Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn (Xbox Series X | S) is now the standard game pass. Metal Slug Tactics (console) is still in the game pass standard today.
This is a big thing. On May 8th, Savage Planet (Cloud, PC, Xbox Series X | S)’s hit game pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass revenge will be seen as day work titles.
In the future, its core was overturned by corporate greed and stupidity. If you want to explore every corner, collect dozens of upgrades, and return to Earth by revenging your previous employer, you will need to hand over all mystical alien locks.
Also, on May 8th, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed (Cloud, Console, and PC) will be participating in Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard.

Going on May 13th, you’ll find Warhammer: Vermintide 2 (cloud and console) in Game Pass Ultimate and Game Pass Standard.

The main event is of course DOOM: The Dark Ages (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X | S). May 15th, when a shooting game hit Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass Day-One.

A day later, May 16th, Kulebra and Souls of Limbo (Cloud, Console, and PC) will begin as yet another day title with Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
Kulebra and the Souls of Limbo is a paper craft adventure game where you meet many good and not very good people from Limbo.
Finishing the May 20th, 2025 Wave 1 lineup for May 2025 is a fire simulator via GamePas Ultimate, PC GamePas, and GamePas Standards, and Police Simulator TeamPas (Cloud, Console, and PC).
