With Indiana Jones and the large circles coming to PlayStation 5 on April 17th, I wonder if they’ve ever seen another recently released Bethesda game jump to the PS5.
Apparently the game was already released on the PS5 with the first expansion.
Tom Warren recently appeared on the Xbox Two Podcast and said Starfield is due to be released on PlayStation 5 in addition to the initial expansion.
“They’ve been working on it for a while,” Warren said, “it should be ready.”
Co-host Rand Al Tor19 said the Forza Horizon 5 should be on the PS5 last year. It is currently scheduled to be released on PlayStation 5 later this spring.
“For example, we got the state of e-day, or fable, or decay. They say they want to put them on the PS5, but they say they have the original dates of Xbox. Do you give them time to tune the Xbox version to the Xbox version?
Expect more Xbox games to come to other consoles
It’s no secret that Xbox wants to bring the game to other consoles. I’ve seen reports on Starfield, Flight Simulator 2024, Fable, Halo, and more.
Phil Spencer has already confirmed that he doesn’t want first-party games to remain exclusive to Xbox.
“Our strategy is to make the game available. It’s moving the game away from the platform… It’s not working for us. It’s not working for us. What we’re doing now allows us to build the best platform for the best games in the world.”
Don’t be surprised if Indiana Jones and Forza Horizon come to the PS5 later this year, other first-party Xbox games follow suit.
