Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 sold 7 million copies within a year, Publisher Focus Entertainment announced.
Saber Interactive Developed Space Marine 2 was released in early September 2024. That means seven million copies have reached copies sold in more than nine months.
Space Marine 2 was an immediate hit, selling 4.5 million in just over a month. surely, Space Marine2 is doing very well and “changes everything” for SaberChief Creative Officer Tim Willit told Passthecontroller shortly after the match was announced.

Focus and Saber surprised Space Marine 2 fans in March when they announced that Space Marine 3 was in development six months after the match was announced. However, given the enormous sales, we can see why the project was greenlighted quickly.

Still, Focus and Saber had to release a statement reassuring players about their commitment to Space Marine 2.
It strongly suggests continuity without ruining the Space Marine 2 campaign (Passthecontroller reports on enemy facts that are likely seen in Space Marine 3).
In the short term, Space Marine 2 will soon get a siege update (patch 8). Not because of balance, it’s really, really cool.
