“tournament” is tricky Shadow of the assassin’s beliefs On the surface, this quest is simple, but not visible on the map by any obvious means.
With this Shadow of the assassin’s beliefs Guide, once we get a “Tournament” quest to appear in our game and talk to Gyoji, we’ll tell you where to find the honorable tournament and list each combatant in the tournament itself.
How to start a “Tournament” quest in the shadow of the Assassin’s Creed

“Tournament” is a big side quest that takes place in the second half. Shadow of the assassin’s beliefs‘Main story. It is extremely rewarding and you can get new weapons, extraordinary perfection, achievements, and unskilled mastery of Yasuke’s Kanabo and Naoe’s tool tree.
- Constant pressure Upgrade for forward momentum (Yasuke)
- The Threat of Mie Shuriken (NAOE) upgrade
The problem is that no one seems to be sure that they are triggering the “The Tournament” quest to start the “Tournament.” After reading some theories, we went specifically to look for it, but found none of them exactly fit our experience. That being said, we can tell you exactly what we did to ultimately trigger it. In theory, it should be displayed if you do the same thing.
First of all, what you’re looking for in “Tournament” is the quest marker that appears. Right outside the hideoutOn the road after loading from the base to the main map. Gyoji I’m waiting for you, and if you talk to him, he will tell you his story. Essentially, he wants you to participate in his tournament. We will provide you with an invitation to start the quest.
Here’s what I did in the time and moment before the “Tournament” quest marker appeared:
- He defeated us Shinbakufu’s 8th member (The Fox) – Practicing mourner, jockey, two faces (3 ushideakechi), and Noble were the only ones standing when the quest began
- I returned to my hideout (And we checked the main house Sinbakuh committee)
- I’ve reached it Level 35

This quest appears to be linked to either your progress through the Shinbakufu main quest or levels. However, it is worth mentioning that I checked the map after killing the fox and When I turned level 35, the quest did not appear. Only displayed after completing both of the others after that Loaded into the hideout.
This quest feels very unwell and it’s possible that people have been trying to determine the exact trigger for quite some time. In the meantime, however, I will use the above trial and error methods to check as many boxes as possible, hopefully creating my own quest.
Where to find a tournament in Yamato

Having an invitation gives you the usual clues on how to find a quest. There are tournaments Yamato State in southeastern Yoshino. If you don’t mind using scouts, place your cursor on the mountain range southeast of the word “Yoshino” on the map. If you want to save your scouts, you can check out the map above to see the indicator.
You will travel quickly to the nearest point and take a long trek to the hill where the “tournament” takes place. Ultimately, there is an Ominenje temple (a unique perspective) where you will encounter tournaments.
Now it’s time to prepare to fight. This is not a Yasuke-only quest, but it’s all about fighting, so he has a great advantage here. I recommend playing as Yasuke Normally, even if you choose NAOE. Just like before you do anything else, upgrade the gear and skills of those you want to fight.
When you’re ready to fight, trade it for the character you want to compete with. Please talk to GyojiShan Tung Style, who sits and watches them fight.
