Digimon has acquired its own mobile card video game after the success of Pokémon TCG Pocket’s runaway. Bandai Namco has announced Digimon Alysion, a free-to-play online card battler for iOS and Android.
Details are sparse at this time, with only teaser trailer and other information being developed. The Digimon Alysion, revealed during Digimon Con, appears to bring all the digivolution of the card game into a virtual format.

Fans have also seen characters that could play a role in some sort of story. Again, the details are rare, but the introduction of some name-named characters and Digimon seems to indicate that there may be a narrative aspect here.
Gematsu reported that a detailed closure beta test is planned for later, with details to come, but no release date has been set yet.
Given how large the Pokémon TCG Pocket has become, Digimon Alysion could be a good play for anyone who wants the Digimon card to fight in life. At Pokémon Front, developers have confirmed that changes have come to Pokemon TCG Pocket’s malicious trading system, but it may take some time before they are implemented.
Digimon Alysion appears to be aiming to port the card game to more people, whatever it is. Perhaps it’s time for Poke Digi’s rivalry to reignite. Or at least, fans who collect cards based on fun monsters won’t hurt your options. Learn more about the Digimon Alysion Ramp for its final launch.
