Naughty Dog has re-released both, both, which were rave reviews for both of its last US game (again).
The studio behind beloved PlayStation titles like Crash Bandicoot and Uncharted announced and launched their two-pack collection today. This is a bundle that includes the 2022 remake.
“Experience the complete story that inspired a TV show with the decisive versions of the two award-winning games,” says the final US Complete official description, “featuring the graphics and gameplay improvements made possible by the PlayStation 5 console.”
Our end comes with both the mainline storyline and bonus content that both received over the years from the original release. That is, it includes the left prequel DLC focused on Ellie and all the NO returns and lost levels of content from the last We Part 2. If you’re a fan of the retelling HBO TV series starring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey, but haven’t jumped into the video game that started it all, you need to know that the comprehensive digital bundle costs $99.99.
Shared in PlayStation.blog The Physical The Last of Us Complector’s Edition, a post written by Studio Neil Druckmann’s Naughty Dog Head, is currently set to be released on July 10th for $109.99. There are currently pre-orders available. It comes with some extra merchandise to justify the slightly increased price, including Steelbook Case, Game Disc, The Last Of Us: American Dreams Comics 1-4, four lithographic art prints, and a thank you letter from Druckman.
“We would like to thank you for your incredible support from all over our studio and our last naughty dog over the years,” says Druckman’s post. “This is a very exciting moment for both the franchise and the team. You’re so humbled by your personal story of what the series meant to you, marveling at your incredible photo mode shots and being urged to keep pushing yourself to continue creating more stories and worlds that you love.”
The final US series was released on the PS3 in 2013, and remains an undeniably beloved product in the PlayStation catalog, but many of its re-releases and remasters have been the subject of criticism from opposition and fans. Joel and Ellie’s adventures came to the PS4 in 2014 with improved graphics and was reimagined on the PS5 in 2022 with a remake.
Finally, we will be offering all of our naughty dog post-apocalyptic offerings together, under another umbrella, as yet another re-release. Seeing PlayStation revisits the world of Joel and Ellie again may be confused for many, but the timing coincides with HBO’s The Last of Us season 2. Season 3 was green light yesterday.
For our final details, you can read why many fans don’t expect to hear about our final part 3 soon. You can also see how Druckman and the rest of the team behind the show continue their story in the future.
