The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered by Bethesda Game Studios and Virtuos contains glitches from the original, infamous Dupe items. Fans will love it again in 20 years.
Ever since Mega-Hit Remaster was launched for PC and consoles earlier this week, Elder Scrolls veterans have been by their own side as they revisited the iconic locations and characters of Bethesda’s classic fantasy RPG. This was a complete visual overhaul that remains very faithful to the original experience of 2006, and the master even thought it would include its memorable bugs and some useful glitches.
In the Remaster of Forget, players discovered that the original Dupet Item Glitch versions are still available, just like they did nearly 20 years ago. Users can replicate almost any item in the game, including only navigating several menus and barrels or storage crates. It means unlimited arrows, materials, and even endless money if you are willing to be patient and carry everything to the merchant after you’re done. There has been debate about glitch exploits for several other Dupe items that appear to have been fixed, but the consensus is generally surprising in the move of masters to maintain such niche bugs with some capacity. Now, in 2025, fans of both the returning seniors and new elder scrolls can see Cyrodiil just like they did in 2006.

Oblivion Remastered, released on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 for Elder Scrolls IV: PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S Sunday, Oblivion Remastered says that Bethesda and Virtuos are going beyond the classic experience from the Jump. They still think that the re-release is more of a remaster than a remakein spite of The vast number of changes it offers. Though the emotions are not appreciated, many fans I’ve noticed that we’re still debating whether or not the remaster of Forgetting should actually be called an Forgetting Remake.
