  • Dying Light: Beasts on PS4 and Xbox One are delayed

summary

  • Dising Light: The Beast was released on August 22, 2025, allowing players without Dying Light 2 to experience the standalone game.

  • The console version of the Beast’s final generation has been delayed by “end of 2025” due to current prioritization.

  • Developers prioritize PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|s versions for launch and commit to optimizing last generation versions.

Techland at the summer Game Fest this weekend finally revealed the release date for Dying Light: The Beast: The Beast.

The event announced that the release date for Death Light: Beast is set for August 22, 2025. This is only two months away.

Dising Light: The Beast is currently developing its final generation and future consoles and PCs, but it appears that development for the final generation version is not progressing as it is currently developing its current version.

On the official Dying Light website hidden at the bottom of the FAQ section of the page, it checks it Dising Light: Beast release on the final-generation platform is behind “end of 2025” without a specific date.

Techland said, “Our goal is to create dying light. This is the best death light game ever. To make this happen, we prioritize development for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5, Pro, and Xbox Series X |s at launch on August 22, 2025.

Most game developers fully embrace the benefits of working on more powerful consoles, so recent recent releases are becoming less common. That said, the fact that dying light developers cannot nail the release window is a bit worrying.

If you’re new to the spinoff, Techland says the game “You’re Kyle Crane. After being captured by the Baron and endured painful experiments over the years, you run away. However, the wounds remain.

Leave it on the edge of humanity, both human and zombie DNA, you will struggle to control your inner beast and the conflict that comes with it. But if you want to get your vengeance on the guy who did this, you need to.

Open World and Action Survival Horror, a unique blend of dying light: the beast is set in a beautiful yet dangerous valley of Caster Woods, overrunning with zombies rather than tourists. To defeat previous prisoners, you will need to form a vulnerable partnership and take advantage of all the combat and crossing options in the Armory. ”

Don’t expect Dying Light: The Beast to support Dying Light 2 being stopped soon. The studio has been known for supporting the game for a long time, so you can see it with countless fixes and additional features in Dying Light 2. Considering it’s a spinoff, I’m hoping for a fix more than anything else.

Dising Light: The Beast is scheduled to be released on August 22nd on PS5, Xbox Series X | S, and PC. Final generation players should keep their eyes on them to know when it will be on the PS4 and Xbox One.
