‘Stranger Things VR’ Studio’s Next Project ‘Face Jumping’ Looks Like Another Patently Weird VR Experience

Soft nails, studio behind Stranger Things VR (2024) and Virtual Virtual Reality (2017)announced this week that they are debuting another patently odd VR experience on SXSW.

VR Experience, called Face jumpCertainly, it sounds like another of the very original experiments of soft Claws as he debuts his experience with Meta Quest Pro alongside many others at the XR Experience Exhibition at SXSW’s Fairmon Route next week.

The 30-minute experience will provide eye-opening interactions that allow players to change their perspective by making eye contact with characters, animals and objects. The studio says Face jump Invite players to “reflect on what is seen, perception, consciousness, and at a glance that evokes questions about connections with others.”

Recently known for its development Stranger Things VR, The LA-based studio was also behind the heart-breaking theatrical experience. Under present (2019)included live performers who interacted with home users.

It will call Face jump “A return to the roots of gentle nails in experimental storytelling, multi-layered narratives, and an absurd exploration of technology-human connection.”

Soft nails do not reveal whether it is released or not Face jump Beyond the debut of the experience at SXSW, it will open in badge holders from March 9th to 11th in Austin, Texas.

It mainly utilizes eye tracking and could potentially appear hypothetical on any number of platforms, such as Apple Vision Pro, Meta Quest Pro, and PSVR 2. I will contact the studio to clarify this and update this piece.
