Announced by Theia Games Starbothe upcoming VR Multiplayer Battle Arena (MOBA) has registered an open beta for Quest, offering classic MOBA gameplay with VR Twist.
First-person MOBA offers big 5v5 battles, with nine unique heroes to choose from, each with their own weapons, skills and play style. Like a traditional third person mobas, Starbo Push through enemy lanes, destroy towers, capture enemy bases and gain strategic map control.
It also pushes to crush enemy creep, clear camp, and enemy team energy cores. Earn valuable XP and credits to unlock abilities and buy powerful artifacts for your next match.
But with a first-person VR twist, the game clearly serves halo– A shooting experience with a rich portal and jump pad. Jump pad for cross map mobility.
Theia Games claims that the current version is still in the “early stages of development,” but it says there are no small movements and is completely free during the open beta period.
The studio says it is aiming for release Starbo Join us in Early Access in Summer 2025 to unlock new heroes, refine our core mechanics, and improve overall balance and Poland.
“We will also implement ethical monetization systems such as cosmetic skins, battle passes and optional content.
The full game release is expected to arrive in early 2026. This includes more heroes, new game modes and expanded mechanics, says the studio. Post-launch plans include regular updates with new heroes, maps and gameplay features.
“We’re building more than just a game – our ambition is to grow Starbo To a true VR eSport,” says the studio.
