Zaire Lanier, author of Compulsion Games, revealed some details about the protagonist of upcoming action-adventure games Midnight South. In a talk at Future Games, we will introduce a showcase of the Spring – Live from GDC (transcription via Gamesradar), Lanier spoke about the story of Hazel, the main character of the film. Midnight South“Choosed” paths will not be used.

According to Ranier, Hazel’s state of mind is “in this strange marginal space between becoming a child and becoming an adult.” Ranier also says that Hazel is a normal child focused on finding a mother, and that she is “not a superhero.”

Ranier said spinning the game’s storyline of Hazel being Weaver worked better than having a “chosen” story. Because the studio says, “If anyone becomes a weaver, when it’s time for deep needs, the land is what you choose for you.

“It’s kind of random, she flashes and you can see the chains of the sky,” explained Ranier. “Weaver can see the fabric of the universe – we call it an epic tapestry – and they can make different kinds of spells with those chains. Their mission is to heal the stigma in the land where bad things have happened.”

“(Weaver) can see your trauma. They don’t fix your trauma for you, you can only do it, but they can hear you, see your stories, they can see those memories, and I think that’s what you need.”

Midnight South It will be released on PC and Xbox Series X/s on April 8th. The title looks like this release date. This essentially means that major developments will continue Midnight South A copy of that build has been sent to the platform owner for all the certifications normally required for the release of a game on the console.
