Sea of Stars is a game that borrows many features and aspects from Golden Era JRPG, Chrono Trigger. It’s not so surprising as it’s a great game that will be the basis of your modern JPRG. After all, it’s not the only thing that used the best JRPGs on SNES as design inspiration.
One of these inspirations is reflected in the combat system where party members can combine skills to perform duo or trio combos, making a clear nod to the chrono trigger double and triple technicians.
All knowledge of the previous combo was thrown into the groove as the suffering of the watchmaker changed the protagonist’s class and introduced new party members. Now we need to learn everything again.
There are combos that naturally learn when we level up, but other combos need to find combo scrolling. In this guide, I’ll show you Where to find all the combos in the Sea of Stars: the suffering of the watchmaker Easily defeat the evil twins of the blissful warrior.
Overall, our party members have seven combos. Five for each character, two as a trio, and the rest spread between two specific party members.
Four of these are naturally learned through leveling up, a feature called fame in the suffering of watchmakers. The other three combos are learned after you find a combo scroll on a particular map, including one of the best among them.
This is a table with combo scrolls you can find and the effects of each skill.

Heap frog
Railway Forest
Railway Forest is a dungeon just after an official visit to the town of Horloge. Where to collect Fardush trains. Once you’ve reached the forest, continue until you’ve operated the bridge until you reach the ground where you need to activate some sort of plug.
Before solving the puzzle, walk a little south to find the combo scroll in the small alcove. Climb the shelf and that’s it, you’ll get a heap frog. Honestly, you’ll only miss this combo scroll if you were blindfolded.
Juggle Core
Ivory Tower
At Ivory Tower you will get a Lavadro drone. A new gadget that will help you with a new type of puzzle mechanism amidst the pain of a watchmaker. Shortly after that, you reach a puzzle where you need to assemble a huge portrait of the King of Narciss.
As soon as this puzzle is finished, you will be climbing two sets of stairs, collecting platform blocks with the Lava drone to secure passages, and reaching the area where you need to advance in the dungeon.
If you pay attention, There is a combo scroll to the northeast of this room. All you need to do is remove the block closest to the entrance door with a Lavadro drone. This removes the floor and reveals some grapes.
Climb the grapes and move around to reach the platform next to the combo scroll. In my opinion, this is one of the most overwhelming combos, but it’s great for breaking the lock.

Wolflock
I feel stupid to give instructions to grab this As you progress through Wolf Rock, the combo scrolls are virtually unclear. But just in case, for some reason, you miss it and can’t unlock the trophy or achievement.
At some point in Wolflock, you need to solve a puzzle that requires solving a rocky platform to open an underwater path. Keep swimming until you reach other underwater sections.
Eventually, you will reach an electric current and fall into a waterfall. Carry the water until you need to climb some rocky shelves. At the top is another underwater access and combo scrolling from Galette des Rois, the best duo combo in the suffering of watchmakers.
