Schedule I will continue to receive post-release updates following the success of the overnight virus on Steam. The latest one is Patch 5. This will increase drug dealer Sim to version 0.3.3F14.
Patch 5 has made many important improvements to the game, but the most interesting thing for many players is the developer’s note that the first Schedule I content update is expected to launch this weekend.
Schedule I is currently a top-selling game on Steam, with more players than big names like Monster Hunter Wilds, GTA 5 and Marvel Rivals after going viral across social media, Twitch and YouTube. The game moves from small dope pushers to Kingpin, producing and distributing a variety of drugs throughout the dirty cities of Highland Point. You can expand your empire with assets, businesses, employees, and more.
Developed and published by TVGS, aka Australian indie developer Tyler.
“I didn’t expect this kind of response!” Tyler said in a Reddit post. “At this point, we’re trying to keep focused and put out patches as soon as possible. We also look forward to starting content updates as soon as all the major bugs are patched.”
Therefore, Patch 5 fixes many employee bugs, multiplayer bugs, and casino bugs. Tyler also implements many pathfinding validation checks to prevent crashes.
Schedule I Update 5 Version 0.3.3F14 Patch Notes:
Fine tweaks/improvements
- I’ve added an active display setting and chose to monitor the game’s display.
- Botanists automatically move products from consumables to drying racks.
- Your vehicle currently appears on the Maps app.
- Implemented some validity checks/failsafes for NPC pass funding and warping. I think this was one of the main reasons why it crashed on certain chipsets (thanks to Chi Chi Chi’s for bringing my attention).
- The movement of refactored employee items is a bit smarter.
- To improve performance, we implemented an NPC effect that culles at a certain distance.
Bug fixes
- Non-host clients that are not fixed may not be able to hit/start on blackjack.
- Fixed a quest UI bug that could cause endless loading screens in multiplayer.
- Fixed a clipboard selection that was not relocated without manually clearing existing selections (e.g. employee beds, botanical equipment etc.) first.
- Dealers sometimes preempted their hands against Blackjack non-host players.
- Fixed the first person jacket that looks like a junkie.
- Fixed “Master Chef” achievements being paid off prematurely.
- Fixed a property null reference causing multiplayer load/DEYNC issues.
- The “dry” button on a dry rack can no longer be operated with each other if the input slots are reserved by employees.
- A “stay in building” behavior with a modified NPC can cause errors to non-host players.
- I sometimes fixed the audio emitter on my NPC and throw a null reference.
Tyler added that Sneak Peak will soon be posted with the first content update.
