GSC GameWorld has released its first roadmap Stalker 2: The Heart of Chornobylprovides an overview of new features for the 2025 quarter. With multiple updates, A-Life 2.0 offers “smart” human combat, including better use of the sides and use of covers. They will also have limited hand rena bullets, which should be a realistic battle.
Even more interesting are mutants as they react to threats and even eat corpses. There is a bit of gameplay purpose, but it will be added to the dipping. After all, how else do mutants exist in the zone? They also get their own loot and offer more reasons to hunt them.
Other notable features include the option to skip shader compilation, increased player stash windows, and widescreen aspect ratio support. In addition to improving stabilization and optimization, more corrections to anomalies are also underway. I’m also looking forward to two new weapons. This can potentially include long-term AK-47.
The Beta MOD SDK will also be available in a pre-closed beta version. In addition to the mod guide, it is integrated with mod.io and Steam Workshop. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
