Silent North, From the Sandbox Survival Shooter Tabor’s Ghost Studio Combat Waffle is now available for early access to Quest and PC VR headsets.
Like the iconic PVPVE game from Face Punch Studio Rust (2013), Silent North It is an open-ended survival game that offers a sandbox to create rules. Create allies, betray everyone, and embrace the game’s lasting world.
“It’s a completely different experience from Tabor’s Ghosts, where it focuses on high-stakes raids with an emphasis on tactical combat, gear collection and extraction,” said Scott Albright, CEO and founder of Combat Waffle Studios. “The survival genre is very subtle, but there is one thing that tends to permeate all subgenres. The complete lack of immersive VR methods to experience them. We’re committed to changing that.”
As you can imagine, it includes environmental dangers, hostile infections (aka “zombies”), and fellow players trying to survive.
It is described as “Alpha Early Access Release.” Silent North It is now available on PC VR headsets on Quest 2 and above at the Horizon store, at the price of PC VR headsets via Steam.
