Most games see a surge in new players once released as one of the PlayStation Plus free games, but one of the giveaways from last month apparently failed to maintain that momentum.
Multiplayer games, which were heavily boosted last month thanks to a surge in new players via PlayStation Plus, have stopped supporting content and gameplay.
Multiplayer horror games have reached “potential” and therefore will end all support.
Last month, Sony included the Texas Chainsaw Massacre on its PlayStation and free games in April. Just a month later, Gun Interactive announced that all updates to the game have ended. This means not only dropping content, but even supporting it.
Players are scheduled to be released this month, while players can expect the update to be released as part of the transitions in the peer-to-peer vs matchmaking game, but are scheduled to be released this month.
“The Texas Chainsaw Massacre will not receive any further future content or support. This means that after the upcoming May patch, there will be no more DLC, balance updates and bug fixes. We can look forward to more future patches as we move towards peer-to-peer matchmaking. We will celebrate the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, just like everyone who loves this game,” the studio announced in today’s blog post.
As for the developers, they moved on to the next project, but they didn’t say anything “keeping up” to anyone other than gamers.
Released in August 2023, the Texas Chain SAW Massacre Multiplayer game is an asymmetrical survival horror experience. Developed by Sumo Nottingham, it was mandated for interactive handling publishing of guns.
Since its launch, we have received countless title updates that add new content (free and paid), as well as gameplay balancing changes. Surprisingly, the game was able to achieve “strong” ratings from open critics, which are why it was released to good critical reviews. The release on PlayStation Plus was intended to bring new life to the game, but it wasn’t enough for the gun to commit more support.
The servers of Texas chain SAW Massacre will remain playable for the near future and are not delisted from stores, so people can still buy them. Guns also say the community team will continue to interact with the player base. Don’t expect new events, cosmetics, or even gameplay changes.
