PlayStation Plus subscribers look forward to playing old and new video games as part of an additional premium catalogue, including classic titles such as Resident Evil, Twist Metal and more.
The addition of new PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 titles to the ever-changing lineup was revealed today in the June 2025 PlayShowcase. All games on the list are prepared to drop at some point during the summer, with some titles starting at Service Day 1.
Sword of the Sea, an ambiance adventure game about surfing colorful oasis, is the headliner here. This is the next project of the Pathless team of Abzu and Giant Squid, and promises an experience focused on skateboarding-like gameplay, magical visuals and exploration. Starting August 19th, 2025, PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers will be available at no additional cost.
Meanwhile, Remedy Entertainment’s FBC: Firebreak will provide a new perspective on the world of controls when it becomes available for premium and additional users’ game catalogs on June 17, 2025. These are fresh experiences from proven and proven developers, but the Premium Classic Catalog allows players to quickly revisit retro titles.
The new classic catalogue additions include Deux Ex, Twisted Metal 3, Twisted Metal 4, Resident Build 2, and Resident Build 3: Nemesis. Myst and Riven has been added for PlayStation Plus subscribers and will be enjoyed as part of the Play Festival days later this month. These are highlights that Sony was willing to share as part of his playing state, and are likely to be revealed in the coming months.
