PC VR headset maker Pimax aims to strengthen its position in VR SIM gaming by partnering with Motorsport Games, the studio behind the NASCAR game series. Kartkraft (2022), and Le Mans Ultimate (2024).
Pimax is leveraging its position in VR SIM gaming following a $2.5 million investment in Motorsport Games, led by a Shanghai-based headset creator.
Pimax has been a solid supporter of VR SIMS for many years, with the latest Microsoft Collaboration becoming the official VR partner. Microsoft Flight Simulator (2024).
Latest partnership with Motorsport Games – Parent Company Le Mans Ultimate Developer Studo 397 – Both brands will be attending the 93rd edition of 24 Heures du Mans, an endurance race event held June 14-15 at Circuit de La Sarte, Le Mans, France.
There, participants can enter the strap Le Mans Ultimate Virtual driving seat with either Pimax Crystal Light or Crystal Super. The experiences in the circuit’s family fan zone are also set up with Thrustmaster hardware.

Following the $2.5 million investment in Motorsport games led by Pimax, the company says it will continue to consider future collaborations at both the promotional and technical levels.
Weng further said in April that Pimax would “explorate similar vertical partnerships to strengthen user-focused strategies, build deeper engagement, and expand long-term loyalty within a passionate community.”
Pimax’s bid to further strengthen its position in one of the biggest markets, PC VR Sim Gaming, follows the recent controversy in which Pimax attempted to pay users to make positive comments about headsets on social media. The company subsequently cancelled the program and apologized.
