Onimusha 2

Capcom has released a new trailer for upcoming remastered releases Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny. The trailer you can see below focuses on some new features available as part of the remaster release, including more difficulty options, mini-games, more cosmetics, and the availability of the game’s original soundtrack and concept artwork.

When it comes to the gameplay side of things, the biggest new additions are easy modes and hell modes. As explained in the trailer, Easy Mode is available immediately from the start of the game and is for players who may struggle with game combat, and will prefer to enjoy the story without any problems. In the trailer, players can easily defeat multiple enemies without any issues.

Hell mode, on the other hand, is described by the trailer as being a very difficult mode. In addition to the generally smarter enemy AI and fewer resources, Hell Mode brings a one-shot death for the player’s character. This means that making one mistake during the battle will lead to a few minutes of lost progress. Hell Mode is for players who already recognize the nuances of the game’s different systems and melee combat.

This means that mini-games are available from the start. This also means that players don’t have to go through too many troubles to find some of their favorites. There are three mini-games available. It’s the realm of black people, team oni, and puzzle phantoms. As for the gallery, the game will contain over 100 sketches created by character designer Keita Amemiya during the development of the title. All 43 tracks on the game’s soundtrack can be heard at any time.
