Capcom Onimusha: The Road of Swords Sadly, we didn’t receive any new details or gameplay at the future Spring Showcase. However, Motohide Eshiro, director Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destinyappeared in the interview to discuss new modes of future remasters.
Aptly named Hell Mode, the premise is simple. One hit from the enemy, the enemy will kill you. Some staff were able to complete the title in this mode, but Eshiro confesses that he doesn’t have. Simply put, it’s not for the faint hearted person.
Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny Remaster also promises to improve quality of life along with high-resolution visuals, but details of the former are still pending. It will be released on May 23rd for Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch. If you own Onimusha: Warlords’ Remaster, your saved data can unlock Jubei’s free Samanosuke costume.
