Palworld is focused on multiplayer gameplay, but there is one important feature most online games have these days: cross-play.
PocketPair Inc. offers the latest updates to this feature. This is good news!
Palworld’s cross-play capabilities are dropping faster than you think
According to PocketPair, the Palworld Crossplay update will drop “late March,” but the studio was unable to provide an exact release date.
Plus, this update doesn’t just add cross-play features. Players can even move their allysists across the world! Unfortunately, there does not appear to be any mutual progression integration in the patch.
PocketPair has confirmed that Palworld’s Crossplay supports all released platforms on PS5, Xbox, Steam and Mac. As usual, the update also includes many gameplay improvements.
Hopefully, most cheating people come from PC given the platform’s more open ecosystem, so there’s a chance to switch console-only cross-play.
With 32 million registered players on every platform, Palworld players have no issues with matchmaking.
Even if Crossplay is set to be integrated into the game, Pockepair is still navigating the ongoing lawsuit against Nintendo that Palworld alleges infringing on Pokemone’s trademark. Stay tuned for more details about Crossplay and other items included in the updates that will be released in the coming weeks.
