summary

  • Dragon Ball Zero Spark Zero is rumored to be released on Nintendo Switch 2.
  • The official Nintendo Switch 2 will be set for April 2, 2025, with price, release date and launch game expected.
  • Analysts predict that the Switch 2 game will cost $70, potentially solving the stick drift issue from the Switch.

Nintendo has officially announced the Switch 2, but Little is still known about upcoming consoles. Nintendo has not revealed the horsepower of the console in the future. As for the game, the title has not yet been officially announced.

However, one Leaker has said that the recently released Dragon Ball game is rumoured to head to Nintendo Switch 2.

“Bandai Namco is Nintendo’s preferred partner, and in addition to developing games directly for Nintendo, they have also released great games for its platform, and there have been a lot of speculation, and even rumors about the arrival of Eldenling and Teken 8 for the Nintendo Switch 2. According to Exsta1s (translated by Nintendo Universe), it is actually set to be released in the console’s debut: Dragon Ball Sparkling Zero.”

Leaks are mostly known for spilling information about Xbox, but given their track record, we are giving the benefit of doubt here. Still, treat this with salt gran, just like the unofficial ones. But this makes a lot of sense given that the rumor is that Bandai Namco is supporting every platform out there. Needless to say, publishers don’t mind adding a few more copies of the games sold to add to the 5 million sale mark.

Dragon Ball Sparking Zero was released on October 10, 2024 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X | S, and received positive reviews. In Open Critic, the game averages 82 critics with 115 reviews, but this is not an easy feat. Especially for brands that have an incredible amount of fighting games.

If you’re excited about more news about upcoming consoles, the official Nintendo Switch 2 release will be set for April 2, 2025 and will be streamed worldwide. It is expected that prices, release dates and more games to be released will be revealed after that.

Speaking of prices, analysts say the Switch 2 costs over $400, and the game is currently priced at an industrial standard of $70 (similar to the PS5, Xbox Series X | S Games). That may be bad news for some, but there are also some potential good news. The issue of stick drifting on the switch may not be a switch 2 issue based on recent findings.
