Niantic Spatial, the remaining tech company for Niantic after selling its gaming business to Scopely last month, fired 68 people following a deal of about $3.5 billion.
The news was discovered by game developers via the California State Warning Act Report. This indicates that at least 68 people lost their employment effectiveness on May 20, 2025.
