The latest rumors about its prices also mention that advance orders will begin in August
Get ready to pay the premium price of the Xbox Handheld from Asus
The latest rumours come from the trusted extas1, which posted a new video on the upcoming Xbox Handheld price range, at least in Europe.
According to the leak, pre-orders begin in August and prices are as follows:
-
Rog Ally White: 599 euros
-
Rog Ally x Black: €899
If traditional pricing is applied, this means that the white price would be $599 in the US, but the allies are a whopping $899. If you’re doing a direct conversion, the Ally White priced at $646, while the Ally X is an astounding $971 when used at today’s Curent conversion rate.
The above information is still unconfirmed and therefore should be treated with a single grain of salt. That being said, extas1 is extremely reliable with his Xbox leaks, and if this is true, be prepared to open that piggy bank.
If the price sticks to it, I honestly don’t see many people choosing the Ally X. So at that price? I want to get a competent gaming laptop that can handle other tasks as well. The Asus handheld is not lightweight and extremely crowded.
Microsoft has not disclosed the release date or price of the device. If pre-orders start in August, you can get them right away.
Your thoughts on price? If this rumour comes to fruition, will you pick up one?
