Grand Theft Auto 6 It is the first and latest GTA game in over 10 years, and there are high expectations for it – the predecessor of the game, Grand Theft Auto 5has sold over 200 million copies since its debut on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2013. The sixth mainline game in the Rockstar’s 27-year-old franchise brings the series back to Vice City in the fictional state of Leonida, where dual protagonists Jason and Lucia seek a better life.
This second trailer gives you a glimpse into what that life looks like. It starts with Jason getting into his car to pick up Lucia from prison. The next series of shots in the trailer doesn’t make it completely clear whether Jason and Lucia’s crime-filled shenanigans have happened before Lucia’s prison stint, or afterwards – did she return to a crime life as soon as she left? As this is a GTA game, we can only assume there is a crime to commit.
The GTA 6 takes place in modern times rather than the stylized ’80s version of Vice City explored in the previous Grand Theft Auto Games. That said, the trailer contains some 80’s music that’s just a throwback.
