Netflix and Supercell have announced that they will bring the Clash Video Game franchise to a small screen with an animated series set in the world of Clash of Clans and Clash Royale.
According to a Netflix press release, the series, which is already in pre-production, will be “built on the turmoil of the game.” The streamer also revealed the plot of the series. It is “a wild man who, although resolved, must rally assemble a band of misfits to protect the village and navigate the politics of comical and absurd war.”
The Klan’s official conflict social media accounts also joined in the announcement look forward to it. “It rings the horns, raises banners, reinforces the village walls. The collisions are invading @netflix!” They shared alongside a cute teaser video featuring the company’s developers who playfully announce the game on the group fascinating time call. “We’re making a new animated series starring your favorite mustache-giving wild b-man and his high-pitched, pig-riding friend. Charge!”

The Netflix crew seems extremely excited to finally make this game a reality in a whole new way. “Clash has been a global gaming phenomenon for over a decade. It’s filled with unforgettable characters perfect for humor, action and adaptation of animated series,” said John Deldarian, Vice President of Animation.
“Working with the incredible teams of Supercell, Fletcher Moules and Ron Weiner, we bring all the fun, confusion and spirit of a world of conflict in a whole new way.
Netflix’s Clash Animated series is still in pre-production so there is no release date yet. Streamers have invested heavily in turning video games into shows and movies. Ed Garnner based on League of Legends and Cyberpunk based on Arcane: Cyberpunk 2077 is outstanding, but Resident Evil adaptations, Tecken: Bloodline, Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft, Dragon Age: Absolution, Castlevania, and more.
