IO Interactive CEO Hakan Abrak says he doesn’t believe there will be a collaborative effort to spread negativity about Rocket Boy’s upcoming action game construction Mindseye. In an interview with IGN, Abrak simply said he doesn’t believe in the event and that he speaks for itself when the quality of the game is announced.
“I don’t know. I don’t believe it. I don’t believe it,” Abrak said. “I think the game should talk about itself on the 10th, June.”
Abrack said nothing more about the expected negativity. Mindseyehe talked about some of the negative feedback the game is getting, as some players got early copies of the title. Abrak said he believes players should wait for the first day patch of the game to gain a more complete experience.
“I think we should wait until June 10th because it’s very normal for all of us as developers to continue working on patches and working at the last minute,” he said. “And there’s a lot of these things coming in. So I think people should wait until release and have the best possible experience.”

One such player wrote an entire thread on social media platform X, comparing the game’s state to the infamous launch state of Mass Effect Andromeda.
The studio itself also posted a statement, revealing a physical copy of it Mindseye It didn’t include the first day update, which likely included some optimization improvements and bug fixes.
