Regardless of how you feel about Mindseye’s gameplay, it’s hard to discuss that when it comes to game performance. Aside from the patch of the day, the game remains plagued by performance issues that need to be addressed as quickly as possible.
Thankfully, developer Build a Rocket Boy is aware of these technical issues and today published its first Mindseye Hotfix.
This incorporates both GPU and CPU optimizations, as well as various technical improvements to other issues.
Mindseye First Hotfix prioritizes gaming performance
According to the developers, their “first priority is gaming performance,” and “we’re focused on improving performance on all devices.” This patch is scheduled to come out on PC this week, and the console will get it as soon as possible (you will need to pass the certification before you release it).
The confirmed fixes include:
-
Improved initial CPU and GPU performance along with memory optimization.
-
The difficulty level of CPR mini-games has been reduced.
-
A new setting that disables or changes depth of field.
-
Fixed an issue where MineHunter control was missing and running Dungeon Mini-Games.
-
PC with a PC with a pop-up warning with hardware disabled GPU scheduling, and a CPU with a potential crash issue.
Build a Rocket Boy says the patch is the “first in a series of updates intended to be enhanced” player experience.
Steam players now have access to build.mindseye. Developers are also working on missing DLC qualifications, which will be added to the player account as soon as possible.
Based on recent launch issues shared on social media, developers have a long way to go before them. I hope the developers turn things around for the game. On this day and age, we saw what happened many times when the game couldn’t launch with momentum, but enough TLC allowed us to turn things around.
