Mindseye, the new blockbuster action adventure from Grand Theft Auto Producer’s Leslie Benzies, debuts today on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S, but one important patch of the game won’t arrive on Xbox’s first day.
Writing on Reddit last night, Mindseye developers said, according to Rocket Boy, “various platform authentications” mean that Microsoft’s consoles will “ensure that the update will “play as highly recommended (ed)… as Mindseye plays as intended.”
“This includes some final important improvements,” and built the Rocket Boy, including “Gameplay improvements, visual polish, stability fixes, performance tweaks.” When will it pop up for Xbox players? For now, the studio certainly can’t say. “(It) will be available on Xbox as soon as possible,” the studio added.
This is the same update last week that builds Rocket Boy, and after early copies began to fall into the hands of players, fans said they should wait rather than play the game before street days. Early reactions to sub-game versions included negative comments that branded the game “technical confusion.”
“We want everyone to experience the story the same way as on day one, but without prejudice,” the Rocket boy said in a statement issued in response to the early copies being played. “This means waiting until the official release date plays the game in person.” Now Xbox fans will need to wait a little longer.
The mention of bias in the studio’s statement sparked the suggestion that the company was referring to comments made by co-CEO Mark Gerhardt.
The claim then placed it on Hakan Abrak, boss of Hitman developer IO Interactive, who publishes Mindseye. His response: “I don’t know. I don’t believe it. I don’t believe it. I just think the game should talk about itself on the 10th June.”
Mindseye was originally first announced as the episode campaign component of the company’s currently airing creative platform.
Eventually, Mindseye is released as a star in Story Mode. The complete game offers world customization using Everywhere’s toolset, but the metaverse portion of the game is on the sidelines.
In Mindseye, you will play as Jacob Diaz, a former military drone pilot with embedded chips to interface directly with flying hardware. This experience has the heart of Chatelde Diaz. And it’s up to you to connect Dias’ past with the truth about what happened.
