Lies of P Director Doesn’t Want to Try and Predict How the Soulslike Genre Will Evolve

Games in genres like games promote a more multiplayer-centric experience thanks to fromsoftware’s Eldenling: NightFreg, p’s lie Director Ji Won Choi spoke about how his studio doesn’t feel pressured to make similar jumps into online multiplayer.

When discussing how genres like Souls could see future improvements, Choi talked about how Neowith was not interested in trying to predict how the genre would be shaped in the future. Instead, the studio is focused on realizing its own vision. Choi is also hoping for it p’s lie Start looking at Neowiz as a mark of quality that allows you to expect a unique experience, rather than wearing shoes in one or two genres.

“That’s something we discussed internally,” Choi said. “Instead of trying to predict what genres like Souls will look like in the future, what we focus on is really finding points of colour and appeal for ourselves. And we believe that by creating our own games and better fulfilling and satisfying the customer’s demands, we build trust and trust with our fans.”

“In the future, instead of nailing us to a particular genre, we want our fans to see us and actually know the unique components we look forward to.

P’s Lie: Overture Currently developing PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/s. The expansion does not have a release date yet, but it is scheduled to launch a summer 2025 launch window.
