Today, Sony has started a remaster and retro sale at the PlayStation Store. As the name suggests, the titles included in this promotion are games that have been remastered or considered retro.
Although sales aren’t as big as most of Sony’s regular PSN promotions, there’s one RPG that you can think of as discounts for the first time.
This new game was released a few months ago and has since been catapulted into one of the biggest games of the year.
PlayStation Store remaster and retro sale sneaks in legendary games
The RPG that Sony added to this minor promotion makes it all important, and it’s nothing more than a remastered Elder Scroll IV: Oblivion. Yes, the same oblivion, just released on April 22nd, has been remastered.
For a limited time only, Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is 20% off, and costs only $39.99. The sale ends on June 25th, so it will take about two weeks to decide whether to pick it up or not.
On Open Critic, Oblivion Remastered has a strong rating and an impressive average score of 82.
The Deluxe Edition upgrade is available for 15% off for $8.49. It includes:
– New Quest for Unique Digital Akatosh and Mehrunes Dagon Armours, Weapons, Horse Armor Set
– Digital Art Book and Soundtrack App
Although there are other games of the highest quality for sale in this sale, Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is the biggest game in promotions. Praise to Sony and Microsoft for covering this early on sale.
