The announcement was made on the game’s official Twitter/X/X account. With this account, Activision has also confirmed that players will not be able to purchase Call of Duty Points or Black Cells from Sunday, May 18, 2025.
Activision said, “We are deeply grateful for our dedication and passion for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile. We will streamline the scope of the game in the future. This decision came after careful consideration of various factors.
“As a result, we will no longer deliver new seasonal content and gameplay updates to the mobile version to the mobile version. Soon, players will no longer be able to purchase Call of Duty Points or Black Cells.
Players who have installed the game before Monday, May 19, 2025 will be able to access the game with cross-processing of shared inventory using existing content. Unused COD points can be redeemed in-game for content available in the in-game store.
The game’s FAQ answers more questions, and for those wondering when the server will be pulled, Activision has not yet set a date and states, “The online play servers are still available and will notify players of changes.”
This is a reminder that players can download and install Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile until May 19, 2025. If you recently uninstalled it, you can download and install it by that date.
