It’s nice to see Switch 2 get GameCube games that are hard to get in real life

When Switch 2 arrives on June 5th, the service will offer an updated Nintendo Switch Online + expansion pack with GameCube titles as part of the service’s Classics library, providing access to rewarding and/or challenging expensive games along the way.

The first GameCube products include the greatest ever The Legend of Zelda: Windowwaker, Soulcalibur 2and f-zero gxbut things get Really It’s interesting when you read the rest of the lineup. The group of Nintendo Switch Online GameCube games was teased from the future – Super Mario Sunshine, The Crest of Fire: The Road of Glow, Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness, Super Mario Striker, Kibiroboand Luigi’s mansion – It consists of controversial dark horse candidates for the best games on the console. That said, some of them can also cost money, and that’s only if you can find someone who is willing to sell.

The Crest of Fire: The Road of Glowfor example, the first 3D entry in the Tactical Roleplaying series, and is often ranked by fans. A shining dawn – Among the best gameplay and storytelling the franchise has to offer. I was forced to play largely I beat both on consecutive rentals of my local Hollywood videos and didn’t own a copy of myself. Unfortunately, for those who want to indirectly want this fantastic game, it can be quite difficult to find in the wild. Resale prices can currently exceed $160 for loose discs or $200 if you need a full box copy.

Did Nintendo intentionally target these games? It’s still unknown, and their appearance on the Nintendo Switch online will do nothing to cut their costs anyway. However, for those who just want to play the game rather than treating it as a collector’s item or investment, Switch 2 can be a godsend. And certainly, you can technically emulate old games, but sometimes you want a legitimate way to sit in old games without getting dirty with your hands and taint any shady download sites and worrying about optimal program settings. Now, what we have to contest is the frank, random way for services to add games to their classic libraries.
