Industry Direct with Kit Navock

Industry Direct is a program for sponsors who want to talk directly to the path to becoming a VR newsletter audience. Direct industry posts are written by sponsors without involvement from the path to the VR editorial team. Direct industry sponsorships can help enable the path to VR.

Hey, my friend, I’m Kit Navok. This is a new, immersive CMO. A while ago, I sold the company. And like many founders after the acquisition, I was stocking it. You’re trying to figure out what kind of work (and what kind of people) actually want to build. Short story: I joined Imersed in a new CMO, as I am now looking at the company’s vision. And now, Also, those who can see the vision can join us on our journey by becoming investors before we continue to accelerate! But first, please tell me how I ended up here.

I was on my radar for a while. I was Early investors several years ago And then I got to know the team slowly. On the endless night, we shared our meals and bounced our ideas back in Austin’s office. At one point, I even hired someone from a group of friends at the company I acquired. What began as curiosity turned into deep respect. These were not just clever people – they were good people – Grassy, ambitious, humble, mission-driven.

Fast forward a few months ago, I texted the Range (founder of Immersed) about basketball news. His reply?

“You should work with us.”

That was not an obvious choice. I called him and entertained him. He’s a pretty convincing guy, even if I haven’t known him for years. The idea stuck to me. I thought about it for days. I called my inner circle. I’m the friends and mentors I trust the most. I told them I had a good life: consulting 20 hours a week, selling the company, and finally slowing it down a bit. However, I felt that this opportunity was just different.

And they all said the same thing: You should go for it.

I’ve received a lower salary than I’ve had for years, but it may not be liquid for a while. But I wasn’t taking part in for a quick victory – I was taking part because I believed in people and Products of what could become the next tech giant. And when I finally got what they were building, My heart was blown away. It all ended up clicking.

VISOR: It should not exist, but exists XR devices

I’ll be the real thing – I’m new to XR.

It’s not generally technology, but in this world of AR/VR. I can’t hack OpenVR builds in 2016, not a duct tape sensor on my face. Noo. I bought the Apple Vision Pro just to see how spatial computing felt.

It worked in general. I was more productive and more focused. Then I tried the visor (Immers’ own headset) That was everything I didn’t know what I wanted.

The Vidor weighs ~186g (lighter than my phone), looks like thick sunglasses, running the standalone with a dual 4K micro-all display and 3 hours of battery. But even more importantly, it’s built for real tools like VS Code, Figma, Email, Blender, Terminal, Tab, and Netflix. I didn’t feel it was made as an after-death add-on to my computer.

It’s not a developer.
It’s not a toy.
It’s not heavy.
Not $3,499.
It just… fits in on actual working days.

I might be new here, but I can also tell: this is not a few prototypes.
“Yeah, this is the first headset that made me think, “Oh, this is ready to be mounted on other parts of the world.”

From apps to platforms (and AI co-pilots)

If you’re using (and probably have) immersed in it, you already know: it’s the most commonly used AR/VR productivity app in the world. Multi-monitor AR/VR workspace. Low latency streaming. Real-time collaboration between platforms. Tens of millions of sessions. Thousands of power users shatter the real work of XR.

now, visorwe are more than just an app. This is the front door to a complete spatial computing platform. It’s an OS built for focus, deep work, and native 3D tools (not 2D windows). In my mind, this is like Steve Jobs thought of Apple. He wanted to build an entire ecosystem.

For me, what really sealed this idea was The curator you have– A built-in co-pilot who understands my workflow, reduces context switching and quietly improves my productivity. That’s not a bolt-on gimmick. It is the connective tissue of the platform. I don’t think I’m thinking alone This too What I wanted to do now is But that’s not the case.

Additionally, the immersive platform is combined with visor and curator AI. This moves you beyond the LLM into physical space. Also, because it is OpenXR compatible, Dev can be built directly to the top, whether it’s a tool, agent, or an entire app.

This is not about porting your desktop to 3D. It’s about building spatial productivity From zero– AI baked from the first day. It is built for construction companies.

Why is this important?

I didn’t take part in solely immersed myself in talking to the screen that floats in space and speaks to my avatar. I joined because I believe spatial computing will reconstruct our methods. Live with work. The combination of immersive environments, native tools and always-on AI support is a powerful leap and arrives faster than most people think. I think Immersive people have the vision, technology and people to make this happen. That’s why I joined.

This isn’t just for enthusiasts. Immerse yourself in the field of engineers, designers, traders, artists, founders and filmmakers. And as AI agents and humanoid robotics continue to evolve, the value of immersive spatial platforms It just works It’s just growing.

The visor is more than a headset. Immersive platforms are more than a virtual reality space where we can work. Curators are more than just LLM AI agents. Together, they form an entire ecosystem for us all to level up.

We are very excited to share this with you.

If someone was waiting for you to build the right headset, and the right company behind it, now is your chance to be a part of it. They are immersed in bringing spatial computing to the masses.

Before the other worlds catch up.

Let’s build a future.
