Indiana Jones and the Great It arrived on the PS5 earlier this month and worked very well in the US. It was the bestselling title for the region for the week that ends April 19th, according to Matt Piscaterra, executive director and analyst at Circana.
Interestingly, this is the first time an action-adventure title has won the US sales charts. It was first released in December 2024 for the Xbox Series X/s and PC. This appears to coincide with a recent report by Equity Fund Alinea Analytics, which pointed out that the PS5 version is selling 28% faster than the Steam and Xbox versions.
Neither Microsoft nor Bethesda have disclosed sales for the title, reporting only over 4 million players. Alinea Analytics estimates that under 5 million people have checked out on Xbox, but the “overwhelming majority” comes from Game Pass.
