Helldivers 2 has a new patch that changes balance and fixes bugs to Sony’s third-person cooperative shooter.
Patch 01.002.200 fine-tunes the balance between many weapons and layers. Developer Arrowhead has also increased the number of AI calculations the game can perform. This mainly affects scenarios with a large number of enemies and improves response time in such situations. But this comes with a slight trade-off in gaming performance, Arrowhead said.
And here is a useful improvement: The Stratagem Loadout menu received an updated classification of various Stratagem groups.
Meanwhile, publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced Helldivers 2’s Next Warbond, known as Borderline Justice. This time’s theme is “Space Cowboy.” To match that theme, new weapons include the R-6 Deadeye lever action hunting rifle, the Las-58 Talon “Revolver” Secondary, and the TED-63 Dynamite.
The GS-17 Frontier Marshall is a medium heldi bar set to suit the Space Cowboy theme, as well as the heavy armor of the GS-66 MP with a cowboy holster and bandreath. The Gunslinger Armor Passive gives secondary increased reload speed, increased draw/holster speed, and reduced recoil. Warbond will be released on March 20th.
The ongoing Galactic War in Helldivers 2 is currently focusing on the alien ion of lighting, which is slowly pushing the black hole towards the super earth. It’s anyone’s guess that this is going on, but speculation points out that it will potentially fight the Illuminated Homeworld or finally fight back against Super Earth itself.

- A recent software autopsy reveals an update to the automata situational awareness protocol. They are no longer distracted by each other, so they are increasing their response rates in large groups.
- Increased the number of AI calculations that the game can perform. This primarily affects the scenario with many spawning enemies and improves response time in such situations. However, this involves a small trade-off in gaming performance.
- According to Intel recently, the enemy of freedom is trying to counter the Heldivirs’ anti-aircraft capabilities. The newly produced automata dropship shows clear signs of hull reinforcement, allowing the body to absorb quite a bit of damage.

- Automata Dropship: Body health increased from 2500 to 3500
- Illuminated Dropship: Use the same shield as the one that landed
