Citizens of Super Earth, the latest major update for Helldivers 2, are calling Arrowhead Game Studios “Heart of Democracy.” This isn’t just a regular content drop that allows players to be given new toys to play, as there’s a crisis happening on one big map.
In addition to major updates, there are also a few fixes that are tied to a variety of technical fixes.
Heldy Birds 2 Heart of Democracy brings battles to the streets of Super Earth
This time, the entire map is set up in the new city of Mombasa, so players will fight on the streets. Expect Helldivers to fight among the skyscrapers as they tackle operations to free the city.
The new objective is to repel invasions illuminated by gaining ground on the squid, as they fight to control the area where the fleet is landing. Expect a tug of war between the galaxies as the power of Super Earth fights the next one.
This time, players can’t avoid just a teammate by firing, as civilians are running around trying to escape the illuminated threat. Luckily for players, there is a pocket of seaf soldiers fighting everywhere across the map to help you (and you can help them too).
In addition to the invasion, there are also new patches released by Arrowhead.
