Helldivers 2 is a huge success for Arrowhead Game Studios, but the studio is beginning to build for its next project. However, don’t expect this to mean that developers are abandoning the hits of live services.
If someone is getting an idea, Arrowhead’s main focus is still Helldivers 2, the studio’s CEO claims.

Speaking with players on the official Arrowhead Game Studios Discord Channel, studio CEO Shams Jorjani spoke about the studio’s future plans.
Yorjani (via VG247) said, “The great thing is that thanks to your amazing support, the future of Arowhead is so bright that we have the freedom to explore truly cool concepts that we couldn’t do.
As expected, there is one Discord member who has confirmed that Arrowhead is moving from Helldivers 2 and says it already sounds like Arrowhead is abandoning “a lump of development time and money from Helldivers 2.”
Yorjani quickly crushed the idea and said, “All for now is Heldy Bar 2. A very small team will spin something up later this year and go slowly.
Interestingly, Giorjani confirmed that Arrowhead will self-publish the next game. The studio’s chief shared this information after one Discord member asked whether Studio’s next game would suffer the same fate as the PSN requirements fiasco that took place (temporarily) for Helldivers 2.
There’s no end to Helldivers 2’s Future. This should reduce the fear of the current player base. It’s mostly the support of the fans that they can do this. Yorjani explains, “As long as you keep playing and buying super credits, we can continue doing that.”
Speaking of support, Arrowhead recently released a major update to Helldivers 2.
