Gog has announced its latest project, One-Click Mods.
According to the PC platform, installing mods can be a bit of a sink, so the One-Click Mods project allows players to “install and play faster and easier than ever. So we collected “curated” selections of premium mods and packed them directly in the corresponding game in “The Smoothest Installation.”
Additionally, Gog says, “Mods are an important part of video game preservation,” and community-made mods fix bugs, revert cutscenes, quests and characters to the game, and restore “new new content” by fans.
I can’t wait to get Skyblivion later this year! I’ll thank my friends @gogcom To help us make it easier and more accessible. https://t.co/nxk8kxx7qr

So far, it includes Heroes of Might and Magic 3: Complete, Doom 3, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines, and Mods for Fallout 4. The former provides an expansion that adds new factions, campaigns, creatures, artifacts, and a number of quality of life improvements, with a set of new factions, campaigns, creatures, artifacts, and work Malmeyer lobby systems that are put into place in London. Fallout 4 apocalypse event is currently underway.
Doom 3 gets the Phobos Mod, the prequel to the original game, and offers a “modern enhancements and a classic-style FPS experience with a story-driven classic style” and for Vampire: Masquerade – Bloodline, an unofficial patch that fixes many bugs.
But that’s not all. Skyblivion is a hot mod for Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Anniversary Edition, which will be released on Gog later this year and will become part of the One-Click Mods project.
Skyblivion is a volunteer-based project by the Tesrenewal Modding Group. It is intended to remake Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion in Skyrim: Special Edition. Bethesda congratulated the project despite the remastering of Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion in April. Bethesda has remastered the talented Oblivion across the Skyblivion Modding team.
This is the latest in many projects in GOG projects designed to save games. Last year, we announced a preservation program to ensure the lifespan of the game. Like Resident Evil, Fallout: New Vegas, The Witcher 2. The move towards online and digital only games has sparked concerns from developers and players as some, such as crew, become completely unavailable. Ubisoft was removed from sales and went offline in March 2024.
