Destiny2 Dungeons are always some of the best features of the game. They present a fair challenge to players, but are easy to manage, less demanding to complete a solo flores run.
However, some dungeons are still tougher than most, and deep ghosts are one of them. There are some boring boss fights and puzzles that require strong memorization skills. In this dungeon, you will delve into the deep Methane seas of Titan to stop the Lucent Hive ritual.
This dungeon was released on May 23, 2023 during the expansion of The Season The Deep in the Lightfall. This guide was written as part of the rituals of nine guides.
The dungeon mechanics remain largely unchanged in nine versions of the ritual. The original version that can be found in the Legends tab also allows you to find memories of the darkness to complete the victory of “Memoriam”.
It covers the basics of dungeons, walkthroughs on how to get it done, and loadouts that need to be successful.
First Encounter – Breaking the Ritual
Introducing High Brune
Ghosts of the Deep features several hive symbols. To make things a little easier for us, I gave them the most commonly used nickname in the community.
You may come up with nicknames for these symbols, but for now, let’s use the ones here.
Walkthrough
You appear in the Arcology of Titan, A place where you can summon and use the vehicle to cross the area. With the addition of new Griffon vehicles, this encounter may be a bit more enjoyable thanks to secondary fires.
Continue to the large door and see a locked door filled with Hive ritual circles surrounded by hive magic and Throar statues. Your goal is to infuse the statue with “traces of light.” They gather together and begin to meet.

A group of hive soldiers and several wizards are found. Killing them reveals another path.
Then you will arrive at the following location You can see the hive symbol floating above it.
You will also see a new hive group along with Lightbearer. Defeat the group and crush the Hive ghosts.
Anyone who crushes the ghosts of the Hive receives traces of light, It lasts about a minute and a half before it kills you.
Beware of the hive symbols floating near you. In this example, let’s say we find the symbol “E”.
With that in mind, Returning to the ritual circle, you will encounter the Bellweaver Wizard. Kill it and deep vision will ring out. It can be interacted to reveal the runes of each Throul statue.
With traces of light, Deposit it to a statue that holds the symbol you remember, it would be “E”. Once you have deposited the correct rune, the chime will ring. If you deposit the wrong rune, you will kill and force them to restart the process.
It is one of four statues. Do this three more times and the encounter will be complete.
Recommended Loadout
This is not a particularly dense encounter, and there are no particularly harsh enemies, except for the eye-opening eggs and knowledge.
Of course, your build depends on what you feel most comfortable with, but like most puzzle-related encounters, Try prioritizing survivability and additional clearance.
We provide two builds for each class. One is free play (light subclasses only) and access to dark and prism subclasses via purchased extensions.
There are no strict requirements for using these loadouts. These are only recommendations based on what helps me. If you are satisfied with your own loadout, feel free to use it. a Destiny Item Manager Links are also included.
There’s plenty of room to use your favorite weapon, but I highly recommend weapons like rocket launchers and shotguns that can do high burst damage, or machine guns that can help you quickly clear up hordes.

Walkthrough
Once you’ve collected the loot, you’ll enter the building. Follow the path through a series of open doors and tunnels.
Land on several platforms and jump over a broken grate. Then it enters the open tube. Continue jumping down some catwalks and you will arrive in a large room where you will encounter some additions.
Defeat all the additions and continue jumping down. Once, You will find a pool that will take you to the underwater area, Wear scuba diving gear and sink deep into the methane sea.
If you are not playing deep dives in deep seasons, you will notice that the meter is slowly ejecting during the dive. This is your pressure resistance. Once you reach zero, you will start taking damage before you eventually die.
To prevent it from being crushed by deep sea pressure, You will find bubbles that can also be useful as guides to your goals.
Touching them will replenish the pressure resistance. This has AOEs that your teammates can share when they spend the right time.
Thankfully, this traversal area is quite linear. Continue diving until you reach the seabed. There, you will travel between an underwater crossing environment and a normal environment. You will encounter some additions, but it’s up to you to whether you attract them or not.
Enter the broken hive structure from a series of underwater jump puzzles. Continue moving while fighting through some additions You arrive at an underwater area where you are chased by ethhar. Lift it into the spout and leave the underwater area.
Second encounter – Exer, Sabatun’s shield
Walkthrough
Ecthar is a lucent, dimly lit knights who will attack you through this encounter. Gather and start dating Attacks the acolite praying in the center.
Once the encounter begins, the enemy begins to lay eggs. Defeat the three yellow bar bulging knights that appear, which produce eggs in the center of the platform at the far end of the arena.
When the ogre dies, deep vision appears near the rally banner. This reveals three symbols on the disk hanging from the left and right walls. Memorize these symbols.
For example, the three symbols that appear on the wall are “E”, “spider”, and “burger”.
With these symbols in mind, dive into one of the four pools around the arena. Navigate the underwater section to find symbols, but Ector will chase you. Above is a map of encounters.
Dodge him like the plague, as his attack will deplete your pressure resistance gauge!
Find symbols and interact with them. You will hear the chime as a confirmation. If you interact with the wrong rune, you will die.
Once done, find the stream and go back to the arena. A thin wizard will be found for each correct symbol you touch.
By crushing these wizard ghosts, you will be given a mountain of traces of light. Deposit buffs on three hive statues around the arena.
This will create a blessed knight. If you kill it, the pool of hive light will be dropped. Step into the pool and begin the damage phase.
As a lighthouse, Ecthar is protected by a shield you have to break to remove his health bar.
Throughout the damage stage, Exer runs to you and begins to slap you with his empty shield. Also note that he will drop the barricade to protect himself.
You can maintain your distance or have him engage Mano in close combat. The choice is yours.
Repeat this process until you defeat Ecthar.
This boss is a Lucent Hive, so try to crush his ghosts and really defeat him.
Recommended Loadout
This additional encounter places you in a small arena against slaves and horde of acolites, but you will need to kill the dim-lit-person yellow bar eggs, knights and wizards to complete the mechanic.

You will need special weapons like rocket side arms to focus on quickly killing the enemies in the yellow bar. Otherwise, other quick fire or close weapons will help you get added.
The DPS phase requires close-range heavy hitters such as swords and shotguns. Ideally, you’ll need the following weapon (or a suitable replacement):
- Lament Perfect for quarterly combat. Turn the engine and use the following combo: light, light, light, heavy.

Legend of Acrius is a fierce hit, but it can be difficult to get, as it requires at least 240 conquests to buy it.

The legendary Swirl Sword and Ergosam (with Wolf Pack Round).

All trench barrel/one-two punch shotguns, and SynthoCeps melee attacks if applicable.

Walkthrough
Once you defeat ecthar, collect the loot and proceed downwards through more underwater sections.
Traversal will be a bit boring, but thankfully it’s very easy.
Eventually you arrive in the vast cathedral space where you will encounter some screams and wizards. Defeat them and continue doing it.
Finally, you arrive at the Gazebo and face a lot of additions and an Augre Mini Boss. There is a bonus chest above the gazebo.
Once you’ve beat them, you’ll go down the hole and arrive at your final encounter. The final encounter takes place in an open cove marked with half-buried corpses of Orix, the filmed king.
Third encounter – Simma ur Nokl, Lucent Necromancer
Walkthrough
You will face Simmuma ul Noklu. He is trying to revive Orix by using Hive Ghosts to bring him back as a lighter.
This encounter is one of the most boring, as the damage stage setting takes longer than most other boss encounters. Take your time and do your best to stay alive.
After you meet, They suspend the ritual and start meeting by crushing the hive ghosts. Additional begins to appear, and she also summons a flock of Lucent Muss who deal an incredible amount of damage.
Shoot moth to give yourself room to breathe as the boss summons them and destroys them and they will chase you relentlessly.
During the battle, deep illusions are found somewhere in the arena. Using it will display three dots, each floating above Orix’s exposed body part. Head, chest, left hand, right hand, right knee, left leg. These dots form a triangle and have a slightly shining circle on the ground.
At the same time, a hivenight named Vollog, who rose up in heresy, was born. Because this knight is virtually immortal, and Simma will repeatedly revive him. He will chase you around the arena and you will need to kill him while standing in one of the revealed circles.

Simmumah goes where you will revive Vorlog. While she does so, Head towards the floating, sparkling ring and line up with the king’s symbols photographed above where she is. This reveals a new high brune.
Do this until the three high brunes are revealed. On either side of the main arena, and on top of the arena near Orix’s head there are methane pockets that take you to another small arena, including some additions and a thin bearer of the hive, Knights, Acolites and Wizards.
Smash their ghosts and you will receive traces of light. Return traces of light to the main arena. In the main arena, we use the fantasies of deep symptoms to reveal orbs. It interacts with the corresponding orb to absorb traces of light.
Make sure to inject the correct rune with the corresponding trace. Get one trace at a time (if you are the only person being a mechanic) and if you are part of Fireteam, memorize the runes you are responsible for.
When the last rune absorbs the dye, the Shimma shield will be damaged and the DPS phase will begin.
Ideally, you should start the injury phase of either the head or chest of Oryx.
Before you can truly damage her, you need to break the Shimma’s shield. At this stage, she will attack you with her projectile while you are surrounded by additional.
She is also teleporting around the arena, which makes her very annoying.
Repeat this process until you kill her and reveal her ghost. Don’t forget to crush it to complete the encounter and dungeon.
Recommended Loadout
This encounter is boring and extremely dense. Take the best additional clear weapons and loadouts that prioritize survivability.

Simmumah and Hive Knights attacks are arcs, so not only do they apply arc-resistant mods to the armor in their chest, but Risk runners are a great choice if you’re always worried about dying.
I recommend planting it This sparkle is used to maximize damage output. Precision weapons like linear fusion rifles do great things in this encounter.
Try using any (or all) of the following weapons in the DPS phase:
- Queenbreaker is still the king of the long-term DPS stage.
- arbalest Potentially creates nasty shields for One Shot Simma.

From the pupil’s vows, the legendary linear fusion rifle, especially the fierce and intense rifle. I recommend that God’s roll with four tries: Attraction, Feed and Switch.

The sniper rifle is also useful as a backup DPS weapon.
To complete this dungeon: There is little chance that you will drop the navigator, A strand exotic trace rifle that cuts enemies and provides woven mail.
The catalyst also allows you to create grapple points that many proximity Titans and Hunters have used in powerful DPS builds.
