The game is not a live service multiplayer and has not yet been set to a release date.
When The Witcher 4 was revealed, it became clear that Geralt is not the main character in upcoming games. Rather, it’s Ciri. That’s really no surprise if you finish Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
Naturally, this has confused some who want to continue playing as Geralt, who starred in the franchise’s first three games.
Even the voice actor of Geralt in the Witcher is OK in the fourth game featuring another hero
Some people may have problems with CIRI taking the mantle from Geralt in the Witcher 4 headlines, but even Geralt’s voice actors are suited to the change.
In the latest episode of Fall Damage (via Retbit), Geralt Voice Actor Doug Cockle collapses into camp. Having a new protagonist means a fresh gameplay experience with new fighting styles and even personality.
Cockle says, “It’s a cool Witcher character and they’ll focus on that character.” Cockle continued, “I think it’s great. You can’t have Geralt in every game for ads for the Nausea Witcher forever.”
Not only that, but Cockle also explained that the expansion of The Witcher 3’s “Blood and Wine” led to the Geralt story of CD Projekt Red’s reaching a natural conclusion. The voice actor adds that there are plenty of Witcher stories that don’t focus entirely on Geralt. This move, for those who think CD Projekt Red is “waking up,” as Cockle explained, “I celebrate her being the main character. So, everyone who thinks that is “waking up”… If you’re reading a book, you understand why CD Projekt went down this street. ”
If Geralt himself is okay, that’s fine for me. The Witcher 4 star Ciri is something I was expecting, and it doesn’t seem like CD Projekt Red is pushing the agenda. Because if you finish Witcher 3, this is because you know where the storyline is heading.
While waiting more to bite the Witcher 4 Morsel, the 10th anniversary of Witcher 3 took place this week. While the festival is planned, you won’t get in the way of new game content.
The Witcher 4 does not have a release date yet. If it was released in 2026, we would be very surprised.
