Disney and Epic Games are once again collaborating for another Fortnite and Star Wars collaboration, revealing confirmations of the latest Sish Lord, or rather one of the longest-running fan theories, while releasing a schedule about when things will fall.
There’s a new trailer that will make sure some of the new skins go our way, along with checking out new updates that hit the game almost every week!
Fortnite gets another Star Wars collaboration, which starts season 3
The trailer and information were shared at the Star Wars celebration in Japan. Players can look forward to weekly gameplay content, Star Wars-themed battle passes, and live endings of the season’s narrative events!
There is also a dozen jars in the trailer! It’s as if people don’t hate the characters enough.
Regarding the update, Epic Games has revealed a mini roadmap that has been extended all the way through June.
- May 2nd: Imperial Takeover
- May 8: Unit pull
- May 22nd: Mandalorian Rising
- May 29th: Star Destroyer Cannon
- June 7: Death Star’s sabotage
Given the frequency with which Epic Games patches are deployed, it is unclear whether new game updates will be dropped on Exat dates, but you won’t be surprised to see clients download pops on each of those dates.
Expect new cosmetics, gameplay updates, new events and more.
Interestingly, the trailer features a remixed version of Dua Lipa’s song “Levitating.” Perhaps after Sabrina Carpenter, the epic will feature artists in the new festival season? I’ll just speculate here, but that’s not out of place for Battle Royale.
We’re more than a few weeks away from May 2nd, so please ring out Star Wars hype.
