- Yoshida praises Yotei’s control ghost
- Ghost, a sequel to Yotei, released before the end of the year
- New gameplay includes dual wilding blades
Aside from the initial announcement by Sucker Punch Productions last year, there is little known information about Ghost of Yotei. A sequel to the bestselling Samurai Open-World Action Game, Ghost of Tsushima.
It looks like they’re waiting for more information, but there are people who are already playing games that are not the developers of Soccer Punch.
Yotei’s Ghost makes you forget you have a controller
Who could have played Yotei’s Ghost before we got our first gameplay showcase? He is nothing but former boss Shuhei Yoshida of Sony Interactive Entertainment Worldwide Studios.
Yoshida retired from Sony after 30 years of service last year, and has since given countless interviews, giving him his thoughts on various video game topics. Speaking on a brief Alliance podcast, Yoshida reveals that he is already playing Yotei’s ghost, saying, “Every time I played Yotei’s ghost, it looked polished. The controls feel natural and you seem to forget that you have a gamepad.”
It sounds like a genuine and accurate admiration! Based on what Yoshida said, Yotai’s ghost was not leaning forward.
Sony doesn’t mention it when we see more of Yotei’s Ghosts, but I think it’ll soon be released before the end of the year. The marathon was released in September, and there is a slight chance that Yotai’s ghost will drop without fanfare in the coming months. We speculate that it will become clear that an October release will be set within the next two or three months.
Apart from the release, the only new gameplay information we know about the sequel is that the game’s protagonist will allow dual wheeled blades.
In Ghost of Yotei, the game is set up 300 years after the event of the first game, so ATSU has a new hero. The samurai game plot is said to be “full of rage and determination. Ats hunts down the person responsible for the death of his family and hunts for revenge with precision. All the strange work and grace provide the coins needed for her journey.
