when Final Fantasy 147.2 update – subtitle “Eternity Seekers” – will be dropped on March 25th. But what’s surrounded by all the information about dungeons, gear and side activities in the patch notes was also detailed about the quality of life changes of a few that should significantly improve the simple act of exploring the game’s world.
According to a community translation of the latest letter from the producer stream, which airs early in the morning of March 14th, Final Fantasy 14 Producers Yoshida Naoshima and Muruuchi shared two major adjustments the 7.2 update will make to sprints and installations. Instead of returning to normal walking speed when the sprint buff wears out, the player will instead enter a jogging state at speed somewhere between walking and sprint, as long as he is out of combat in a safe zone such as a city or sanctuary.
I’ll ride and climb again Final Fantasy 14 The mount will no longer require the player to stay still as the action resolves. It only takes a few seconds to summon a mount in the current version of the game, but this short wait can feel awkward when moving through larger zone locations. Think of it like the difference between hitting all the green lights over a long road and having to wait in red for each block. Certainly the latter is not going to kill you, but you would rather avoid a stop-and-go loop.
“(It took only ten years),” translated by Yoshida. “But we also have 10 years of muscle memories. It takes some time to get used to it.”
And finally, when a new space exploration mode is added Final Fantasy 14 On April 22nd, there will be a never-ending toggable sprint. The Island Sanctuary mode in the game in Update 6.2 offered similar ones with a unique, low crewdown “Isle Sprint” ability, but Cosmic Exploration’s sprint is infinite of all intents and purposes, allowing players to expand from objective to objective without worrying about speed boost rebuttals.
“We call it the Cosmo Sprint,” Yoshida clearly said.
Square Enix has not yet provided official English details about this update 7.2 content, but if you would like to learn more about what was shared during this morning’s Japan-only broadcast, check out our community translations.
