In Fallout Canon, ghouls are humans mutated by radiation from nuclear wastelands. Some of them become wild and act as bullet feed for the game’s main character’s bullet, but many are just ordinary people. Certainly, they are very pockmarked, hurt, burned and twisted, but they can make good neighbors and allies.
in Fallout 76players will collect ghoul serum to encourage conversion, and have access to special perks, immunity to radiation, and customization options for new characters. This option unlocks with special quests at level 50. 76 You can’t get rid of it right away. If players regret the decision of the Ghoul, they can purchase tokens at the Atomic Shop to regain humanity.
A drawback? Well, players taking preventive chemistry can get wild, but this seems rather unpleasant. There are also the various reactions that vendors and NPCs need to change the social dynamics of Appalachia. Ghouls also need to disguise if they want to enter a certain area. For example, the Steel Brotherhood cannot run ghouls around the base.
This is the first time a player has been allowed to become a ghoul in the fallout game. So it will be interesting to see how responsive the wasteland is for the ghouls between us. Season 20 is filled with ghoul-themed cosmetics to unlock, allowing you to create a cozy little camp to match your new creepy aesthetic.
