“Try to 500 years of strategic skills in 500 years of history with Europa Universalis 5, the latest version of the famous Grand Strategy Game,” says the explanation shared by Paradox. “Guard the art of war, trade, diplomacy and government in the largest and most detailed European Universalis game ever. Guide the fate of hundreds of countries and societies in a living world simulated with unparalleled depth and complexity.”
The Europa Universalis 5 has been developed with Paradox Tinto for over five years, and the team says it has had an experience “with dedicated paradox fans in mind.” The team has taken into account “a year-plus public debate,” adding that public voices play a key role in what is called “the largest and most detailed European universal game ever made.”
The Europa Universalis 5 campaign begins at the dawn of the 100 Years’ War in 1337. As players guide people through major moments in history, they have an army of new features to enjoy. Highlights from today’s publication include the promise of a new, larger map that utilizes accurate map projections with hundreds of different societies. Paradox now has a population-based system, with an upgraded production and trading system to see players carve out places for themselves by building farms, plantations, factories and dealing with neighbouring areas.
It all comes in the name of creating a strategic experience that allows players to freely build their own nation and free themselves to the point they think they are right. Last week it was a mysterious and “ambitious” project by the Paradox Team. Fans mostly understood what was prepared in advance..
“Europa Universalis 5 is based on the franchise’s central concept of developing and advancing nations from around a deeply studied historical world. The explanation continues.
