In theory, both of these text snippets can not only refer to a specific area of the map, but also be attached to characters in the game. The explanation is tied to a co, which players assume belong to an individual class. For example, the recluse is described in the game as a deep forest witch. Importantly, some of the realms appear to resemble an altar, accompanied by the text, “To alleviate the first sin, we choose to be the basis.”
It may just be something to set the atmosphere. Souls Games has a clear story, but it cannot be assumed that everything in the text is an intentional tie with a wider storyline. Sometimes the explanations compete with each other or make no obvious sense in the larger context of the game. Still, this is a lot of reference to the branch, and everything comes from a clearly important place in the game. The altar is suggestive. Are players supposed to do something there? What happens when a player brings a twig into an area on the map?
Twigs are obviously useful, but why give them three? A single player is classified as an amulet rather than a regular item, so they can only carry two branches. If the game expects to share twigs, is there any chance that something could happen if certain characters hold those branches in the appropriate area of the map?
