Dungeons and Dragons Neverwinter Nights 2: The Enhanced Edition will be released on both PC and console on July 15th, with the latter being able to mark the first Neverwinter Nights 2.
The expanded edition developed by ASPYR comes with all DLC packs, console controls and steam workshops, but “Save everything you love about the acclaimed original adventure.” It also features visual enhancements and full cross-play for up to four players on PC via Steam and Gog, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S.
You can also purchase it as part of a bundle that includes Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition and Dungeons & Dragons Neverwinter Nights 2: Enhanced Edition.
Neverwinter Nights 2 was originally developed by Obsidian Entertainment and was released in 2006 as a sequel to Bioware’s Neverwinter Nights. Of course, it is based on the Dungeons & Dragons Fantasy Tabletop role-playing game and adapts the 3.5 edition rules.
Neverwinter Nights 2 is set in the Forgotten Realms Campaign setting, and as the game’s name suggests, it is the city and surrounding area of Neverwinter.
