Resolution Games revealed the debut gameplay trailer for Demeo X Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked, confirming the release window and launch platform for the second half of 2025.
The best known resolution game for digital fantasy tabletop adventure Demeo is the first virtual reality game of Dungeons & Dragons Universe called Demeo X Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked, collaborating with Wizards of the Coast. It will be released on PC via Steam and PlayStation 5. You can use the VR version on PlayStation VR2, Steam VR, and Meta Quest 3.
BattleMarked adapts to the Demeo action role-playing system for D&D classes, action and resolution games. The solution encourages a group TableTalk that focuses on tactics and decision-making, the resolution game says.
“Demeo’s world is rich in lore, but our previous titles focus primarily on tactical actions around motivation and narrative,” said Tommy Palm, founder and CEO of Resolution Games.
The Resolution Game works with story designer Matt Selnet as the lead in the project’s story. Sernett previously worked as a designer for Dungeons & Dragons Tabletop Game, and has contributed to Dungeons & Dragons video games such as Baldur’s Gate, Baldur’s Gate 2 and Icewind Dale.
“When Dungeons & Dragons launched its fifth edition in 2014, it was the first adventure that many players had to venture into Neverwinter Wood, and we can imagine there’s no better place for Battlemark players to start their journey,” Sernett said.
“The first adventure at Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked takes players to familiar locations such as Cragmaw Castle and Mount Hotenow.
Battlemarked’s second adventure will be released later this year, including at launch.
